The Sudbury Church of Christ is a non-denominational church that focusses on following God's Word, and establishing God's church as it is described in the New Testament. When you come and visit with us you can expect to receive a warm welcome. You can expect to share in a worship service where God receives praise and honour for his many blessings. You can expect the Bible to be used as our only rule of faith and practice.
- Hear the word of God (Romans 10:17);
- Believe the word of God (John 3:16; 8:24);
- Repent of sins (II Corinthians 7:10, Luke 13:3,5);
- Confess one's faith in Christ (Matthew 10:9-10; Romans 10:9-10);
- Be baptized (immersed) into Christ for the remission of sins (Romans 6:3,4; Galatians 3:27; Acts 2:38);
- Remain faithful in the Christian walk (Revelation 2:10; I John 1:7).
- That God is all knowing, all powerful, ever present and active in our world.
- That Jesus is God's one and only son and through faith in Him comes eternal life.
- That the Bible is God's inspired word, it is without error, and it provides direction for daily living.
- That baptism is essential for salvation.
- That the Holy Spirit is a gift received at the time of baptism.
